Short version: we report what public documents say, we show our sources, we label every ad, and we fix mistakes in the open.
Sources
Facts about a company come from documents you can check: its fee schedule and account agreement, BBB and Trustpilot profiles, IRS and SEC publications, court and regulator records. Where a figure is our own calculation, we say how we worked it out.
Bylines
Diversify Guy is the pen name of our editorial desk. A named contributor's byline appears only on work that person wrote or substantially edited and approved. "Reviewed by" means a named person checked the piece and approved it.
How drafts are made
We use AI tools to help research and draft. Every published piece is edited and checked by a person before it goes live, and the facts in it are checked against the sources above.
Independence from advertisers
Advertisers and affiliate partners do not review, edit or approve our stories before publication. Payment can affect which companies we cover and where they appear on our site. It never changes a company's score, a published fee or a rating.
Dates and updates
Every story shows when it was first published and when it was last updated. Company figures carry the date we last checked them.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix the page and add a note saying what changed and when. Tell us about an error through our contact page.
